It sounds simple…and it is.  Yogic tradition holds that you should dry your hair in the sun. It is said that essential Vitamin D, a powerful vitamin that helps us with strong bones, a healthy immune system, cognitive function and more, is absorbed into the hair, where it is then available to the brain.

It’s also said in yogic teachings that women should wash their hair at least every three days because our scalp secretions can irritate our nervous systems.
