prasadHave you ever had prasad (or gurprasad)?  It’s the sweet treat served at the end of Gurdwara ceremonies in the Sikh tradition.  More than a dessert, it is considered the Guru’s blessing.  It is prepared in a sacred and traditional way, and served with reverence and grace.  You do not have to be a Sikh to go to Gurdwara, partake in Prasad, or receive the blessings of the lineage of Sikh masters.
