This week we caught up with Julie Campbell, she’s been an enthusiastic supporter of Sat Nam Fest since the beginning! Here’s what Julie had to share about the festival:
I’ve been coming to Sat Nam Fest since the very first festival in West Virginia! At the time, I was doing a lot of Bikram Yoga but I didn’t know anything about Kundalini. We came to support our friends Hargobind and Siri Om. Even though we didn’t know what the festival would hold, we were there to support our dear friends. So my husband and I went to Sat Nam Fest, and I fell in love with Kundalini Yoga. Over the years the thing that has kept me coming back are the people. There’s just something about being there at Sat Nam Fest with hundred’s of like minded people that want to enjoy the magic of being there! It’s such a beautiful and nurturing environment, everyone is happy, everyone is just walking on air! Because we’re all in such an elevate state of consciousness, its like walking on air. I’ve met so many incredible people from all over the world. When we gather in the main tent and start practicing the yoga and mantras, to me everything is just magical! Some people come for the yoga, and some for the music, for me I love both. I especially love seeing and meeting the artists whose music I’ve been hearing in classes at home! If I had to choose one part that resonates with me the most it’s being with that many people who enjoy the same things I do. It helps put my life into perspective, so I can see what is really important and what I need to let go of. Sat Nam Fest is my favorite event and I would get everyone in the world there if I could!!
