Sat guray nameh, siri guroo dayv-ay nameh

This is an example of mantra chanting that is practical and useful in everyday life. TheMangala Charan mantra, Aad Guray Nameh, can be chanted at any time, any place, whenever there is a need for protection. It helps to bring clarity when there is doubt and opens you up to a sense of guidance from the highest sense of Self.

This mantra is often chanted three times after the Adi Mantra (Ong Namo), when tuning in for Kundalini Yoga class or practice. Another common use is to pause before departing in a car and recite this mantra. When chanted for 31 minutes, in any setting, it’s a practice for covering and clearing the past, present and future.

Various meditations include this mantra such as the Meditation for Protection and Projection, available in the Spirit Voyage Yogi Lounge. This particular meditation strengthens projection and opens the heart center to send love into the universe. Another meditation using this mantra is the Medical Meditation for Habituation, which is a valuable practice for those working to break through patterns of addiction.
