This simple three part pranayam is a great warmup for a kriya or meditation. Breath of Fire is one of the most common pranayama, or breathing exercises, in Kundalini yoga. It gives your lungs and heart a good workout and begins to purify the blood. Remember not to do Breath of Fire if you are pregnant (a very light breath of fire is ok during the first trimester), and if you are menstruating, just put your navel very lightly or substitute long deep breathing.
