The Moon is waxing. She is just starting to appear in the sky as a sliver at sunset as the week begins. As a result, this is a good week to grow the plans and projects that you set into motion at the time of the New Moon last Friday. This is a week to move forward with your goals and new habits that you established for yourself. This is a week to commit. With the Sun still transiting grounded Virgo, we are engaged in a close look at the details. We are looking for ways to improve, streamline and heal. At the same time, it is important that we don’t become too critical of ourselves – or others. Keep that judgmental voice at bay. Don’t give in to its terrible temptations.
The week is off to a very discombobulated start. We feel off balance – without direction or sure footedness. Our sense of direction is out-to-lunch thanks to the fact that the Moon is void-of-course for pretty much the entire day. As a result, it is not a good day to be in the workplace – which is perfect timing for many people since Monday is Labor Day, a major holiday for people in the United States. Enjoy the day off and remember not to make any big plans or decisions. It is a time when our intuition is off and connections with others is awkward. It isn’t until 7:30pm EST (4:30pm PST) that the Moon is back on course and we have our wits about us once again.
The general atmosphere intensifies on Tuesday with the Scorpio Moon calling the shots. The stinger is out and people are feeling the heat. There is nowhere to hide as truth bubbles up to the surface and creates and explosion of emotional baggage that has been needing to clear for quite some time. Don’t ignore the issues. Instead, dive deeper into them. Get to the nitty gritty core of things.
A monkey wrench gets thrown into the works on Wednesday with the Moon void-of-course fowling up the works. Suddenly our intuition is off and it is difficult to find our footing. Don’t lose sight of what is most important here – the truth. Go with the flow and keep to yourself. Just remember that this is not the day to hold any big strategy meetings at work. This is not the day to make any major plans. Instead, just stick to routine tasks. We aren’t out of the woods until just after 11pm EST (8pm PST).
Thursday’s Sagittarius Moon helps to lighten the mood and elevate the situation. Keep things on the up and up by staying polite and well-mannered. Stay positive and speak nicely about others or don’t say anything at all. It is not your place to judge. The challenge here is that the Sun is square with the Moon today, suggesting that there may be some friction developing between the masculine and feminine polarities. It could be hard to see eye-to-eye on certain issues. It doesn’t help that there may be some passive-aggressive behavior at work behind the scenes.
Things are good in the morning on Friday, but then they take a bit of a turn when the Moon goes void-of-course at noon EST (9am PST). For the rest of the day, you might as well just go home and get a start on the weekend. It is not a time to make any big decisions or plans at work. Our sense of direction is off and it feels like we’re walking with two left feet.
There is a sense of urgency on Saturday – to work, to get projects done around the house, to meet certain goals that you set for yourself. Go ahead and tackle things on that list. Your hard working spirit is urging you to get to it. Your actions are efficient and your work ethic is strong. Make the most of it.
