The Moon is waning. This is a time to turn inward and meditate. The Moon rises at midnight at the start of the week, only showing half of herself. Each day that passes she rises later and later, each time appearing smaller and smaller in the night sky. By Sunday she is exactly in line with the Sun, rising and setting with the great solar giant, and during this time she is not visible to us at all.

On Monday the Moon is exactly square with the Sun, beginning the 4th quarter phase. As a result, we may feel tension in the air. The masculine and feminine polarities are at odds with each other and we are likely to feel this friction play out in scenarios down here on Earth. To make matters even more disruptive, the Moon is void-of-course for a four-hour period on Monday morning. From 8:30am – 12:30pm EST (5:30am – 9:30am PST), the Moon is “backstage” changing costumes into the next sign. During this “in between” period we feel as if we have lost our sense of direction. Our intuition is off. Postone that morning strategy meeting for another time!

The Leo Moon on Tuesday brings rays of sunshine everywhere. A happy, loving tone washes over all of us. This is a day to express yourself. Let your romantic, loving side shine through. Be bold, take an active leadership role. Just make sure that your ego doesn’t get *too* out of hand. Ego eradicator is a good one to practice for at least three minutes on a day like today.

The big news on Wednesday is the Sun’s entrance into Scorpio, the fixed water sign. For the next four weeks, the Scorpio Sun reigns, thereby setting a background energy of intensity and increased sensitivity in everyone’s world. This is a time when the stingers come out. Emotional energy that has been building up pressure underneath the surface is suddenly erupting for all the world to see. Lookout! Secrets, manipulation, and power plays are likely to be in focus at this time of great intensity and power. This is a time to do detective work. It is a time to get to the root cause of the issues. It is a time to deal with the taboo subjects that no one wants to talk about.

Thursday is a day to get organized. Pay attention to the details and stay grounded. Put on your analytical hat and take care of the little things that need to get done. Pay close attention to your needs along the way. Also take care not to get too critical of yourself or others. Your strive toward perfection is noble but it also might cause more stress than necessary.

Friday is a good day to take off from work. Stay home and take care of routine tasks. The Moon is void-of-course for most of the day on Friday, causing a myriad of topsy-turvy situations that aren’t likely to pan out in the long run. From 9am – 4:20pm EST (6am – 1:20pm PST), the Moon is out-to-lunch and so is our intuition. This is not a time to make any big decisions or plans.

Saturday is a wonderful time for love and romance. The Moon in balanced Libra is calling for harmony and partnership. Go dancing with the one you love. Splurge on a lovely dinner at a nice restaurant. If you are looking for a gift for someone you love, or perhaps a gift for yourself to help manifest love in your own life, consider the “Kundalini Transformation Kit: Yoga & Mantras for a Whole Heart”. This wonderful collection of mantras and shabads by various artists (Sat Purkh, Guru Singh, and Snatam Kaur just to name a few) helps to open the heart, heal wounds, and set one on a course toward fullness and completion.

The New Moon in Scorpio is exact on Sunday – opening up the opportunity to plant new seeds into the ground. It is a time to let go of the old and make room for something new to manifest. Let go of what no longer serves you so that you can invite more prosperity, love and healing into your life.
