The week begins with the Moon coming to the end of her cycle. You may feel low in emotional energy as the week starts out. This is to be expected. The Moon has disappeared from view and our attention has turned inward as we get ready to start fresh with a whole new lunar cycle, which begins on Tuesday. The good news is that Mercury is direct now, meaning that communication is back on track and it is safe to purchase things with mechanical or electrical parts. You are in the clear for signing contracts and setting forth on travel adventures. With the Sun now transiting through optimistic Sagittarius, it is time to move forward with faith, courage and confidence.

Get your plan set early on Monday morning. Go ahead and have the morning strategy meeting with folks in your workplace but make sure you wrap it up before lunchtime (or morning break time for those on the West coast). At 12:30pm EST (9:30am PST), the Moon goes void-of-course. For the next 7 hours, it will feel as if we are in a fog. During this time the Moon is “in between” signs. For us down here on Earth it feels as if we have lost our intuition. Our sense of direction is off and it is not a time to make any big decisions or plans. Instead, just stick to routine tasks.

The new lunar cycle begins on Tuesday. This is the time of the New Moon in Sagittarius. It is a time of new beginnings. If you are interested in breaking a habit or an addiction, this is a good day to do it. If you are looking to start a forty-day meditation or begin a new diet or exercise routine, this is also a good day to do it. Put something new into motion while at the same time let go of behaviors or patterns (or relationships) that no longer serve you. The New Moon is a time to go inward and take inventory. Take a good honest look at who you are and where you are at. Be real with yourself and be brave with the changes that need to be made.

Wednesday is a day to start growing these dreams and goals. Nurture the seeds that you just planted. Be good to yourself and stay confident. Turn to a daily practice and/or source of spiritual wisdom and guidance for support. Consider Jot Singh’s book, “The Essential Element.” Having served at the feet of Yogi Bhajan for many years, Jot Singh is a true living example of the teachings that Yogi Bhajan gave to us. Listen to his story and let the teachings permeate and find a home within you. Be inspired by Jot’s spiritual journey and consider this essential element in your own life.

Thursday is Thanksgiving Day – truly a day to give thanks. Enjoy the bounty of good food and laughter with friends and family members. Have fun with those who are close to your heart. Meanwhile, the Moon in grounded Capricorn is asking you to stay on task and get things done. Last minute feast preparations? Don’t worry. The Capricorn Moon is helping you to stay on task and stay organized.

The Moon’s transit through Capricorn continues on Friday, encouraging everyone to pitch in and help with cleanup! It is a good day to get things done. We feel the desire to set goals, stay focused and get things done. Put everything in its place. You will reach the mountaintop that you are heading for.

We may feel fuzzy-headed on Saturday. The Moon is void-of-course all morning, suggesting that it is a good day to sleep in and not make any big decisions or plans. Just relax and go with the flow. The Moon is back on track at 3:13pm EST (12:13pm PST).

On Sunday, join together with like-minded individuals. It is a time to connect with those who share the same goals and dreams that you do. Find strength in the company of those who share the same spiritual path or other similar beliefs. Be social, have fun and celebrate. There is much to be thankful for.
