There is a significant planetary conjunction on Monday, which may be a sign of another huge wave in the ocean of events that the world has been dealing with at the current time. The two big planets involved are Mars and Pluto – both of which tend to shake things up to say the least. Mars is the planet of war and weapons. Pluto is the planet of extremes. It also has to do with Scorpio-related themes such as sex, death, rebirth, and other people’s money. It is also said that Pluto is associated with oil. Power plays, explosive acts of aggression and extreme action are all on the table at this time. Furthermore, this conjunction happens in the sign of Capricorn, the sign associated with structures, teachers, discipline and the negative mind. Furthermore, the Sun is in Aries now, so the background feeling of battle is in the air. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac – plowing forward headlong into the unknown. Aires is the pioneer. It is also the sign of war.
Having said that, use caution on Monday. Especially since it is also a day when the Moon is void-of-course for a large portion of it. Heavy energy is flying around, and being misdirected, to boot. People’s intuition is off. We have lost our sense of direction, and yet there is certainly no shortage of sheer force and weight being thrown around. From 11am – 9pm EST (8am – 6pm PST), we are under the influence of this void-of-course period. Make no decisions or plans during this time. Avoid going out if you can help it.
Tuesday is the New Moon. It is a time of new beginnings. This is a good day to meditate. It is a time to put our prayers out into the universe. The cosmos is listening. Consciously let go of what no longer serves you in order to make room for that which does. Be extra mindful of your thoughts. The energy you put out is like a seed going into the ground that will germinate and grow during this next lunar cycle. Both the Sun and the Moon are together in Aries – the sign of new beginnings. What do you want to create? This is a time to open up your artistic channels more than ever.
Use the power of soothing, angelic mantra to help calm your nerves and keep you balanced during this time of global tension, personal stress and anger. The powerful mantra, “Hummee Hum Brahm Hum” is the perfect remedy for these trying times. In the album by Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, there are several tracks with different versions of the same mantra, including a 31 minute version, a Tibetan version, a slower version and an a capella Tibetan version, Put this album on in the morning and keep it on for the rest of the day! It will be especially nice to have on Wednesday as tension, anger and aggression continues to be at record levels.
The general tone calms down a bit on Thursday after 9:37am EST (6:37am PST) when the Moon moves into relaxed Taurus. This is a time to sit back and enjoy what you have. Enjoy music, food and the people surrounding you. This is a good day to let the creative juices flow. Turn your attention to music, dance and the arts. Have fun with kids and appreciate what is right in front of you.
Love is in the air on Friday. Let it be so. Be forthcoming with your words and shows of affection. Enjoy a date with the one you love. This is a time to celebrate, regardless of what might be going on in the world around you.
Take care of practical tasks on Saturday. Make a list of duties for yourself and others that you want to accomplish on the domestic scene. Stay focused and get it done. There is a great feeling of satisfaction after the completion of even the smallest tasks.
Connect with others on Sunday – even if it is done remotely! Make phone calls, send text messages, and share your stories. It is important that you strengthen the bonds with the people you care about.
