The week begins on an intense note. The Capricorn Moon is almost Full. We are almost at the height of the lunar cycle, and everyone is feeling it! Monday is intense with an extra amount of emotional pressure operating. You may be anxious about getting things done, meeting deadlines, and conquering important goals. People are feeling the pressure of time. Remember one of the sutras of the Aquarian Age: “When the time is on, start and the pressure will be off.” Also remember that Mercury is still retrograde. As a result, communication is off, mechanical devices aren’t working so smoothly and travel delays and mishaps are more common than usual. Take extra time to get where you are going and double check the route that your navigation device gives you before you set out blindly into the unknown.

Emotional tension reaches a climactic point on Tuesday with the Full Moon lunar eclipse happening in the late degrees of Capricorn. At this time, the Earth passes exactly between the Sun and the Moon, thus casting a shadow on the lunar lady. As a result, we may be more aware of the aspects and emotions of our own life that are in the shadow and are burning to be revealed, recognized and healed. New information is rises to the surface. The Lunar Eclipse marks a turning point. It is time for something new. Assess what is no longer working in your relationships – both romantic and professional. It should be obvious with the eclipse bringing everything to the surface. Acknowledge the truth and make a commitment to yourself to do something about it. Maybe it is time you have a serious talk with your partner. Maybe the two of you need to plan a retreat together to really work through the issues at hand. Perhaps you have reached a turning point in your career. Be honest with yourself about the next step. Maybe it is time to strike out on your own and/or try something new.

The energy feels unsettled on Wednesday. Rapid and unexpected change and information may throw you off balance. It may not be easy to deal with the unpredictable events of the day. Stay alert and be open to whatever comes. Understand that it’s all part of the process of ongoing change. We are co-creating the future. Nothing is set in stone. Be open to acknowledging and respecting others, regardless of their viewpoint. Understand where people are coming from and give them space to speak their truth.

The Moon goes void-of-course on Thursday morning and stays that way for the remainder of the day. From 11:53am EST (9:53am PST) onward, we feel unsettled. We feel off. We have lost our sense of direction as our beacon of intuition (the Moon) is out-to-lunch. Decisions are uninformed. In general, this is a good time for routine tasks and not a good time for making any plans or decisions.

The void-of-course period continues into Friday and doesn’t let up until 5:19pm EST (2:19pm PST). This is a good day to sleep in – and maybe not even go to work at all, if you can help it! Again we find it hard to make any sort of informed decision. Our sense of direction is off. Interaction with others is awkward.

Saturday is a time to sing, dance and have fun. The Moon is in Pisces – the last sign of the zodiac. The time is right to go deep into meditation and consciously merge with God. If you are looking for some inspiration in this realm, consider the album, “Jap – Meditations for Transformation” by Annki Har Dyal Kaur and Klas Landahl. This album is great to use in yoga classes as well as in your own personal meditations as all of the meditation tracks are just over 11 or 31 minutes long. “Kirtan Kriya – for total balance”, “Har – for wealth and abundance” and “Har Hare Hari – for prosperity” are just a couple examples of the resources in this powerful album.

Relax on Sunday. Truly let go and unwind. Write poetry, play music and dance. Express your emotions through movement and sound. Know that whatever comes out is perfectly okay!
