Have you noticed that for the last three weeks, communication in general has been off? Mechanical breakdowns have been more common and directions seem to get fouled up more often? This is because Mercury has been retrograde. The good news is that it is moving in a forward direction again. It turned “direct” this past Sunday, setting our brains in forward motion again. Now you will find that communication is almost back on track. Perhaps you need to clear up any misunderstandings that happened between you and others in the past three weeks. Take the time to do this before moving forward with projects at work, plans around the house, etc.

 

This week, the Moon is waxing. She is getting bigger and staying up later each night. As a result you might find yourself staying up later each night. As the weekend approaches, your dream state becomes more and more active. Keep a journal by your bedside so you can record the messages that are coming to you while you sleep.

 

On Monday, the Moon is void-of-course for pretty much the entire day. We feel off. Completely off. Is Mercury still retrograde? It may feel like it since our interactions with others is a bit off and our intuition is out to lunch. What to do? Sleep in. Take a day off from work. This is not a time to make any big decisions or hold any strategy meetings. Instead, stick to routine tasks. Do the the laundry, do the dishes, do yoga.

 

On Tuesday the Moon gets back on track and encourages us to get to work. The Saturnian influence encourages us to put our noses to the grindstone and make up for lost time. You will be extra sensitive to the ticking of the clock so plan wisely and stay on track. The Capricorn Moon is helping you to get things done.

 

The same is true for Wednesday. Keep going! Keep tackling your list of projects. Stay grounded and focused. Also feel free to say no to offers of social engagements that may distract you from important work that needs to be done.

 

The big news this week happens late on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, depending on your timezone. The result is the same: we enter the season of Virgo. The Sun enters into the mutable Earth sign of Virgo, setting the backdrop of energy for the next four weeks.

 

This is a time to get organized, pay attention to details and get serious about taking care of your health.
