The Moon is waxing as the week begins. We are in the midst of a final crescendo of energy that culminates during mid-week when the Moon reaches her fullest point. As the week kicks off, we feel the emotional thermometer rising. Remember that we are in the season of the Leo Sun, making everything more dramatic and flamboyant than usual. Egos are more inflated than usual. Little things can turn into huge dramas pretty quickly so have your ego eradicator handy. Keeping up with three minutes a day of that practice each morning helps mitigate the negative effects that come with excited Leo energy!

Get a fresh start on your workload on Monday. You can accomplish quite a bit. Your actions will be extra efficient. Say no to people or invitations that might distract you from tasks that need to be taken care of. At 6:11pm EST (3:11pm PST), the Moon goes void-of-course and for the rest of the day, it feels as if we have lost our sense of direction. Our intuition is off-kilter thanks to the fact that the Moon is “in between” signs. During this late afternoon/evening period, stick to routine tasks and make no major plans or decisions. Anything attempted during this period will be misguided. Interpersonal communication is off.

The Moon doesn’t enter the next sign until 11:35am EST (8:35am PST) on Tuesday morning. As a result, we may wake up in a fog. It is a good day to sleep in. Productive time at work won’t begin until the Moon is back on track. Hold off on any decision making until that time. For the rest of the day, be inventive. Break out of the mold and try a more creative approach. An unconventional method will prove to be the most rewarding.

Gather together with like-minded individuals on Wednesday. This is a day to come together with those who have the same goals or spiritual beliefs. Hold a gathering at your house. Discuss what you can do together to make a difference in your community. Reach out to others on the internet who share the same feelings and desires. You are not alone! Gain strength from connection with others.

The Full Moon is exact on Thursday morning – you will feel the effects of this powerful opposition of the two luminaries quite strong on both Wednesday and Thursday nights. The two polarities at work here are Aquarius and Leo – two fixed signs on opposite signs of the zodiac wheel. Aquarius is concerned with the needs of the group, while Leo is more focused on the self. Both have their importance in the world. Now is a time when you need to examine the balance of the two. Where in your life do you need to make adjustments? Maybe you are so focused on the needs of others that you are forgetting to take care of yourself. Maybe you are so focused on yourself that you are completely oblivious to the health of the group. Both require your commitment and compassion. Notice the dreams that come to you at night. Our sleeping state is more active than usual. Your subconscious mind might be trying to tell you something. Pay attention to the messages that come in the night.

On Friday, the Moon in Pisces helps to soften the energy and remind us of the importance of compassion. Reach out to others and listen. Offer a loving, safe space to share.

How’s your sadhana going? Need some fresh tunes to re-inspire you to chant the Aquarian Mantras each morning (or at least 1 day a week?) Check out Gurunam Singh’s album, “Crimson Sadhana”. His chants are done in such a way to bring you truly in the naad. His soulful, rich voice, takes you away and helps you merge with the one – the call to action from the Pisces Moon this Saturday.

On Sunday, the Moon is void of course until 12:33am EST (9:33am PST). Until this time, we are without our beacon of intuition. Don’t make any major decisions or plans until after this time. For the remainder of the day, engage the physical body. Playful exercise is favored!
