Each year since 2008, 3HO has worked with one of the 5 tattvas (elements) at the Winter and Summer Solstice events. As preparation for the final transition into the Aquarian Age, a specially chosen meditation and mantra are used to work on aspects of ourselves that will be important as we fully transition into the Aquarian Age. This year, Nirinjan Kaur has recorded a beautiful version of the Wahe Guru Mantra for a Meditation for the Ether Tattva.
According to Tantric Numerology, 2012 is a 5 year, and associated with the throat chakra. This chakra is ruled by the Ether Tattva. The element of Ether originates in the Shabd, the unmanifested sound. The throat chakra, associated with our voice, brings the Ether into action. “Mastery of the etheric element in combination with the spoken word has the potential of bringing the heavens to the earth–to create a reality that matches the Divine Will.”
The mantra “Wahe Guru” is being used for the Ether Tattva Meditation. 3HO’s website shares: “Wahe is a statement of awe and ecstasy. Guru is that which brings us from darkness to light. Wahe Guru is an expression of complete ecstatic awe of the Divine. It expresses the indescribable experience of going from darkness to light (from ignorance to true understanding). It is the Infinite teacher of the soul. A trikutee mantra, it balances the energies of the generating, organizing, and transforming principles. It expresses ecstasy through knowledge and experience. It is the gurmantra, which triggers the destiny.”
Nirinjan’s recording of Wahe Guru is perfectly suited for meditation. The instrumental accompaniment is simple and soothing. Nirinjan’s voice is beautiful, and will take you deep into meditation. The melody will stick with you, keeping the mantra on your mind throughout the day. This version of Wahe Guru will join Nirinjan’s So Purkh, her beautiful album “Adhara”, and her sadhana album as “must have” albums for Kundalini yoga meditation.
