Hari Simran left his body on December 3oth in Tepoztlan, Mexico. He went for a hike in the mountains outside the retreat center where we were hosting Sat Nam Fest. Our team spent 4 days searching for him, certain we would find him caught in a ravine with a wild story of adventure to share upon his return. We had the incredible support of so many governmental organizations, volunteer organizations, people who gave of themselves in ways we never imagined possible who came together to #findharisimran. But when we found him, he had left his body and his soul had returned to the light.
We were blessed to share his last days with him. He led Japji for all the people at Sat Nam Fest. The morning he left, we had the great gift of being present while he led his last sadhana. Now, we must all #findharisimran in the devotion of our daily lives.
If you would like to watch the recording of his memorial,3HO graciously organized live-streaming and recorded it here:
Hari Simran is survived by his wife, Ad Purkh, and his parents, Sat Jagat Singh and Guru Surya Kaur Khalsa.
